Sounds great! But why on earth are you called Happy Yolk!?

Eggcellent question! 😉 Put simply, the founders of Happy Yolk - Alissa, CJ and Chris - came together to launch World Record Egg, a campaign to achieve the most-liked picture on Instagram. We succeeded in 10 days, beating Kylie Jenner’s record of 18 million likes… and went on to launch a global Super Bowl mental health campaign.

In 2022, the egg was scrambled by Messi’s World Cup winning Instagram post. To say we’re not egg-cited by a fresh opportunity to create internet history again would be an understatement… so watch this space! 

The Role

Happy Yolk is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for an incredibly creative, ambitious, motivated, and enthusiastic intern to join our rapidly expanding Social and Influencer team. 

As a valuable member of our team, you will be actively involved in generating and curating engaging content for both our brilliant clients and Happy Yolk's own social media platforms.

In this role, you will immerse yourself in the latest TikTok and Instagram trends, ensuring that we stay ahead of the game by producing engaging, relevant, and sometimes delightfully silly content. While maintaining a professional demeanour in the workplace, you will be encouraged to leave corporate at the door as we’re looking for someone who fearlessly puts forward their ideas no matter how unconventional or out-of-the-box.  

You’ll be part of a highly entrepreneurial environment and a close-knit team of super committed individuals who love social. How you'll spend your time:

  • Craft captivating and creative social media content, mostly in video format for Instagram Reels and TikTok.

  • A finger on the pulse of viral trends to create content and suggest trends for clients to leverage.

  • Engage with followers and influencers to cultivate an active online community.

  • Be part of internal and client creative brainstorms - bringing your A game!

  • Organise and schedule posts for a consistent online presence, while being on-hand to make trending content.

  • Work closely with the Social & Influencer team, brainstorming ideas and supporting projects.

  • Ability and willing to embrace growth opportunities at Happy Yolk.

What we need from you:

  • Experience? Not required! But a burning desire to create amazing content is a must.
  • Do you love endlessly scrolling through TikTok and Instagram Reels? This internship is for you.
  • Content creation skills are a must, especially video.
  • Super creative and confident in sharing ideas.
  • Sharp eye for catching viral trends early.
  • Genuine passion for all things social media.
  • Self-starter with a "can do" attitude, thriving in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbally.
  • Ability to self motivate due to remote work – confident communicating online and in person.
  • Cool head under fire - as the projects come thick and fast.
  • You are a brilliant multi-tasker and able to juggle a busy workload.
