The Role

Happy Yolk is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Account Assistant. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with minimal experience who are eager to kickstart their career in the exciting world of social media and influencer marketing.

As a valuable member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of social and influencer strategies for our clients. Your responsibilities extend to the creation of engaging content across diverse social media platforms, requiring close collaboration with the content team to ensure alignment with client strategies. 

You will take charge of tracking and monitoring the performance of client content and influencer collaborations, providing regular reports on key performance indicators. Your role also involves staying ahead of industry insights, trends, and social media best practices, contributing valuable insights to both internal teams and clients. 

This multifaceted position requires a keen awareness of the ever-evolving social landscape to ensure that our strategies remain innovative and ahead of industry standards.

How you'll spend your time:
  • Contribute to social and influencer strategy development and implementation.
  • Create engaging content for diverse social media platforms, ensuring alignment with client strategies.
  • Handle basic graphic design and video tasks for social media campaigns.
  • Support content scheduling and posting on social media channels, optimising for engagement.
  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, actively engaging with the audience.
  • Track and report on the performance of content and influencer collaborations through regular KPI reports.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, popular hashtags, and social media best practices, sharing insights with teams and clients.
  • Participate in internal and client creative brainstorms, bringing your A game!
  • Provide general administrative support to the team.
What we need from you:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Ideally, a minimum of 6 months experience in an agency environment.
  • Genuine interest in social media trends and dynamics.
  • Keen awareness of viral trends for content creation and client leverage.
  • Openness to embrace growth opportunities at Happy Yolk.
  • Highly creative and confident in presenting ideas.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay composed in fast-paced project environments.
  • Strong multitasking skills to handle a busy workload.
  • Self-starter with a proactive "can do" attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to self-motivate for remote work, proficient in online and in-person communication.
